Final Fantasy VII is Getting Ported to PS4

At the PlayStation Experience Square-Enix revealed that Final Fantasy VII will be coming to PlayStation 4.

The PC port of the PlayStation game that was released two years ago will come to PS4 in Spring of next year.

Considering the way the announcement was presented, many people thought this would be the long-awaited remake of the original PlayStation game, but it appears to just be a straight port. The original game recently ranked at the top of a list of desired remakes in Japan.
