Fallout 4 Officially Announced in a New Trailer

After months of speculation surrounding the announcement of a Bethesda press conference at E3, a mysterious site that urged viewers to “Please Stand By,” and an early launch of the Fallout 4 site, we’ve finally gotten what we all knew was coming — the announcement of Fallout 4.

The latest entry in the Fallout series will be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but no release date information is available as of yet, though from some teaser material, it appears that it will be set in Boston, Massachusetts.

The trailer above showcases the familiar set piece of an abandoned home while a narrator describes an oncoming apocalypse.  The glimpses of the wasteland insinuate that there will be flying ships, the series’ trademark vaults, and sad dogs.

You can expect more to be announced at Bethesda’s E3 press conference, being held on Sunday, June 14.  We’ll be bringing you that news, along with all your E3 coverage, live from the show room floor.
