Among the many announcements and trailers seen at Sony’s pre-TGS show was a new trailer for Danganronpa: Another Episode.
The trailer shows just how different the spin-off is from the mainline games in the series, being an over-the-top third person shooter as opposed to a visual novel like the first two games.
The game stars Komaru Naegi, sister of original protagonist Makoto Naegi, as she and returning character Toko Fukawa fight their way through a dystopian world overrun by animatronic bears resembling the series’ antagonist Monokuma.
Danganronpa: Another Episode is coming to Vita in Japan on September 25th, but the game is teased in the English version of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (which comes out on Vita tomorrow), implying the game will make its way stateside in the future.
