Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel Repackaged for Current-Gen as ‘Handsome Collection’

2K and Gearbox have announced that Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will both be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as part of “Borderlands: The Handsome Collection” on March 24th.

Both games will be packaged with all their DLC for a standard $59.99 retail price, as well as a $399 “Claptrap-in-a-Box” edition. The latter comes with the games, 12 lithographs, a steelbook case, and a remote controlled Claptrap (which you can check out a demonstration of at the top of the post).

The games will support cross-save, meaning that if you’ve played either game on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, or Xbox 360, you’ll be able to pick up where you left off. However, it will be constrained to the same console family, meaning that PlayStation players must buy the collection on PS4 and 360 players must play it on Xbox One in order to continue from their save.

The collection doesn’t feature the original Borderlands, which was recently rumored to be getting a current-gen re-release.
