Wolfeinstein: The New Order video shows off stealth and carnage

Wolfentein: the New Order is right around the corner, and today we’ve got a video showcasing the “Tactile” stealthy and the “Mayhem Route”. Sliding knife strikes, stealth pistols, using huge automatic shotguns to rip through cover and blow Nazis apart, carefully picking locks (our first look at that mechanic), and blasting through skull casings with sniper rifles are all part of this viciously awesome trailer.

If you’ve missed out on what Wolfenstein: The New Order is all about, here’s a nibble about the alt-future title:

Wolfenstein: The New Order, the upcoming first-person action-adventure shooter under development at MachineGames, reignites the franchise widely recognized for pioneering the first-person shooter genre. Set in the 1960s, the monstrous Nazi regime has used mysterious advanced technology to win World War II. They now rule the globe with an iron fist. Wolfenstein: The New Order sends you across Europe on a harrowing mission to bring down the Nazi war machine.

The game is slated for less than a month from now – May 20th on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. As an added bonus, if you pre-order the game you’ll get access to the upcoming DOOM beta. You can find all the details on that at the official page.
