Toddlers update announced for The Sims 4 – available now

One of the most requested features in the Sims community, toddler Sims, is now coming to The Sims 4 with The Biggest Little Update. The update is available for download as of Thursday, January 12.

With the implementation of toddlers comes dozens of new animations, outfits and objects, and unique toddler interactions. Some of these interactions include using flash cards, teaching your toddler how to talk, reading them to sleep, and teaching them how to go potty.

Fans of the Sims series have been requesting the toddlers feature since The Sims 4 launched, and according to Executive Producer Lyndsay Pearson, The Biggest Little Update has been in the works for years.

“We just had to find the right time, resources and design to allow us to start the heavy process of actually building and bringing Toddlers to life,” said SimGuru Pearson. “And believe me when I say it has been really REALLY difficult to not talk about this as we worked to get it right.”

The Biggest Little Update is available now for The Sims 4 on PC and Mac. The Sims Studio recently announced an upcoming Vampire update for The Sims 4, which will feature new Vampire Sims and a new playable area.
