The Ace Combat Assault Horizon demo is apparently a popular one as about 1.2 million people have downloaded the demo on the 360 and PSN, announced gleefuly by Namco Bandai today.
The Ace Combat series has been around for quite a while now, it debuted on the original PlayStation and has seen a total of 12 releases in the franchise. In all, the Ace Combat series has sold 10 million copies worldwide making it one of the most successful flight sim franchises to date.
Ace Combat Assault Horizon hits PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 11, 2011.
