Several PlayStation services currently experiencing issues (UPDATE)

UPDATE: PlayStation services seem to be back up and running. A look at the PlayStation Network Service Status site indicates that all previous issues have been resolved and are back online.

Several PlayStation services, such as the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Now, and even the ability to sign in or create accounts, are currently experiencing issues.

PS issues

The affected services seem to be experiencing trouble on all PlayStation platforms — PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and even the PlayStation website. Sony has issued a a statement to Express acknowledging the issues, saying, “You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”
