As part of Super Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai’s on-going “Pic of the Day,” the developer revealed on the Miiverse that Zero Suit Samus will be getting a new costume in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.

The new costume (seen above on Wii U and below on 3DS) originates from the ending of the 2004 Game Boy Advance Game Metroid: Zero Mission.

In other Smash Bros. news, it was recently confirmed that Meta Knight will return in the upcoming Wii U and 3DS games, albeit slightly less powerful than he was when he
debuted in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii.
