Sony has announced the launch date for the PlayStation TV mini-console outside of Japan. You can get your hands on the $99 device on October 14th.
Called PlayStation Vita TV in Japan, the PlayStation TV acts as a PlayStation Vita with an HDMI port for your television, which, in turn, means it can be used to play PlayStation 4 through remote play on any other TV in your home. The system comes with three downloadable titles, but what these games are wasn’t specified.
Sony revealed the PlayStation TV at its Tokyo Game Show conference last year, and announced it would be coming stateside at its E3 press conference back in June.
