Nintendo Showcases New 3DS’ Faceplate Feature in New Ad

Nintendo has released a new advertisement for the New 3DS in Japan. The commercial centers around the changeable faceplates the handheld will have when it launches, demonstrating this by showing various Nintendo characters changing outfits.

Revealed last month, the New 3DS will have a second analog pad for camera control, and will support Nintendo’s Amiibo figures when they launch later this year. Since then, it has been confirmed that the device will be region-locked, essentially negating any use in importing it.
