Nintendo and Universal release video on theme park expansions

In a video released by Nintendo today, legendary game creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Universal creative Mark Woodbury discuss the Nintendo-themed park expansions coming to select Universal Studios theme parks.

A press release from Nintendo offered further details on the company’s vision for the parks. Three parks will feature Nintendo-themed areas — Universal Studios Japan, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood — where “Gigantic Piranha Plants spring to life,” and “Question blocks, power-ups and more surround you.” The park areas will become open to visitors “separately over the next several years.”
