Need for Speed Rivals accolades trailer shows off pure awesomeness

Need for Speed Rivals is pretty amazing, and today we’ve got another video showing it in action.  This time around it’s a video that shows off some of what the press has been saying about this amazing title, and who is that at 1:05 in the video?  Oh right, it’s us.    I’m just starting to work on a supplemental review to talk about how the Xbox One tackles this racer, but I can give you a preview – everything in this trailer sums up everything I have to say.  The game is an addictive racer that is likely to dominate my system for quite some time to come.   Stay tuned for my full thoughts on this title in the next few days.   In the mean time, here’s a bit from our official review, as well as a touch on AllDrive:

A new generation of racing has begun with the highly anticipated, high-octane racing game Need for Speed Rivals. Set in a world with a variety of stunning environments and effects powered by the advanced Frostbite 3 engine, Need for Speed Rivals is injecting new innovation into the racing genre with AllDrive, a revolutionary feature that destroys the line between single player, co-op and multiplayer. AllDrive will forever change how racing games are played with friends seamlessly connecting gamers to one world where their single-player races and chases can collide at any time.

Our review summed it up nicely with this statement – “the experience sets the bar for all racing games from now on.”   Check out the whole thing above for all the details.

Need for Speed Rivals is now available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC worldwide.
