Meltan’s evolution has been revealed!

There’s something new and exciting in the world of Pokémon today: Melmetal, the first Mythical Pokémon capable of evolution! Evolving Meltan into Melmetal is no easy task, as evolution requires 400 Meltan candies. The Pokémon site suggests that you’ll receive candies for sending Meltan from Pokémon GO to Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee, it also suggest using rare candies as a short cut. Melmetal may be worth the effort for its Double Iron Bash move for Let’s Go! players:

Melmetal possesses a unique Steel-type physical move called Double Iron Bash. With this powerful move, Melmetal uses the hex nut in its chest like an axle to spin its powerful arms around, dealing a double strike to the opponent. The weight of the heavy hex nuts on its arms combined with this spinning motion give this move extraordinary power. After it hits, it may even make the target flinch!

Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu and Pokémon  Let’s Go! Eevee are coming November 18th exclusively to the Nintendo Switch, and while no solid date has been announced, we should expect to see Meltan appearing in Pokémon GO around that time.
