Mega Man 11 announced for Summer 2018, X games coming to current gen consoles, Legacy Collections on Switch

Today, during Capcom’s 30th Anniversary livestream for Mega Man, we were given a look at a brand new title in the Mega Man franchise, Mega Man 11. Unlike Mega Man 9 & 10, this game will not retain the 8bit style and will instead be a 2.5D action platformer. Mega Man 11 will be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC late next year.

In addition, fans were treated with a nice, if almost expected, surprise in the form of an announcement of all eight Mega Man X games coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. It is not yet clear whether these games will be available in a collection or as individual titles.

Capcom also announced that Mega Man Legacy Collections 1 & 2 will both be available on Nintendo Switch next year with integrated Amiibo support.

More information is coming out over time as the Mega Man 30th Anniversary livestream continues.
