On April 4th, NIS America is holding an event at Anime Conji 2015 that will allow attendees to take part in a real-life Danganronpa murder mystery.
The company has now released a tutorial video to teach attendees the rules of the game, narrated by series mascot Monokuma.
Those participating in the Danganronpa Murder Mystery Event will have to search the Sheraton Hotel in San Diego for clues to solve a murder case that has been conceived for the event. Those who document that they found each clue can take part in a class trial that will be comprised of cosplayers portraying the cast of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. For more information, check out the instructional video above.
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair are both available now on PlayStation Vita.
We recently got a chance to play Danganronpa: Another Episode, a third-person shooter spin-off that was confirmed for North American localization last month. Check out our thoughts on the spin-off here.
Developer Spike Chunsoft has plans to release a third mainline game in the series in the future, and while its story hasn’t been written yet, the studio does have plans for how they will continue the franchise.
