Latest Pokémon: Let’s Go trailer focuses on gym leaders, Team Rocket, the Elite Four, and more

Today, the official Pokémon Youtube channel released a new trailer for the upcoming Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu! This new trailer focuses on the challenge aspects of the game including gym leaders, Elite Four members, the infamous Team Rocket, and a surprise appearance from a few familiar faces.

Each of the classic gym leaders from the original Kanto region Pokémon titles, Pokemon Red, and Pokemon Blue, have been revealed and rendered in 3D. We also got a brief look at Sabrina’s battle arena which appears to be on top of a building in the middle of Saffron City. In addition, we are given a brief look at Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, and artwork of the Elite Four members.

Another big, but expected surprise is the inclusion of Red and the original rival, Blue. It appears that Red will have his own battle, but we’re not sure if this is an extra fight similar to Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon. More surprising, however, is a teaser of Leaf. Her appearance, while brief, appears to be based on Green’s look in the first few series of the Pokémon Adventures manga. The circumstances in which you encounter these characters is currently unknown.
