An Important Returning Character is in the Latest Dragon Age: Inquisition Trailer

At EA’s Gamescom showing today, Bioware revealed a new glimpse at the recently delayed Dragon Age: Inquisition. The trailer that was shown (seen above) focuses on the game’s combat, as well as many of the characters that will show up in the game, both old and new. We see some old friends like Morrigan, and the recently showcased Cullen, as well as new ones like Dorian and Sera.

Most notably, this was the first time there was visual confirmation of the return of Dragon Age II’s protagonist Hawke. The female default appearance of the character appears around the 1:37 mark, but from the looks of it we’ll definitely get a chance to make sure Kirkwall’s Champion’s appearance match that of our own, according to a tweet from Dragon Age creative director Mike Laidlaw.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 18th. For more on the third iteration of Bioware’s fantasy epic, check out our impressions of the game’s showing at E3.
