Today, Klei Entertainment announced Don’t Starve: Nintendo Switch Edition and revealed that the popular survival game will be released on the handheld-console system on Thursday, April 12th.
In Don’t Starve, players are dropped into a mysterious world and must fine, craft, and build fires to survive each season. At night, terrifying monsters appear to take the player out. There are plenty of characters to play as such as the standard character Wilson, or the pyromaniac Willow. The Nintendo Switch version of the game includes the two DLC packs Reign of the Giants and Shipwrecked.
This isn’t the first time Don’t Starve has made its way to a Nintendo platform. In 2015, Don’t Starve Giant Edition was released on the WiiU, which of course was just the base game and Reign of the Giants expansion pack.
Don’t Starve: Nintendo Switch Edition will be released next week on Thursday, April 12th, 2018, for $19.99.
