Harmon Kardon unleashes the Lucas Nano

LUCAS Nano - 01

Harman Kardon is easily one of the top audio shops in the world, and they’ve got a sweet solution for those who want a whole hell of a lot of high-quality sound but don’t want to consume a ton of space.  A new product from KH entitled “LUCAS Nano” has been released here in the states, but it’s not just interesting to gamers.  Audiophiles, gamers, and semi-pro recording artists, take note – this beast can serve all of you.   Portable and powerful, the system has a lot of configurations that just might be up your alley – check it out:

LUCAS Nano features subcompact dimensions and a miniscule footprint. Its self-contained 22lb package can be easily carried via built-in handles, and includes a dedicated subwoofer along with two incredibly small – yet surprisingly powerful – satellite speakers.

The entire setup of the LUCAS Nano is multi-functional, catering to a variety of user’s needs. The fist-sized satellite speakers can be mounted directly on top of the sub via HK’s Easy-Click connectors (requiring no additional wiring). They can also be mounted onto HK’s optional stand package, or even onto traditional mic stands and connected via instrument cables for added placement options and a true stereo experience. The Easy-Click system provides further versatility, allowing users to also connect two satellites and use them as one double-powered, mono speaker.

LUCAS Nano is also a great monitoring solution for gaming, and multimedia applications that can benefit from lightweight and portable audio systems. A 3-channel mixer built into the back of the sub can easily accommodate microphones, acoustic-electric and stereo instruments, and media players as well.

The Lucas Nano comes in at a street price of $699, but when you check out the screens below, you can easily see how the versatility makes it worth it.   We are hoping to get hands-on with the unit soon, so stay tuned.
