Surprisingly, Master Chief is nowhere to be seen in Halo 5: Guardian’s opening cinematic.
Microsoft has released the first 3 minutes of Halo 5, and it centers around co-protagonist Jameson Locke rather than the Spartan that fans have come to know over the course of the first four games. Both Chief and Locke will be playable in Halo 5, but this new cinematic trailer shows off Locke and his squad as they descend upon the battlefield.
