Halo 5 won’t be getting any single player DLC

Halo 5: Guardians came out earlier this week, and 343 Industries says that it won’t be adding to the game’s story through DLC.

News of this comes from 343’s Josh Holmes, who told Red Bull that Chief and Locke’s story wouldn’t be expanded upon by any add-on content.

While we’re always looking for new ways to expand the Halo universe, we do not currently have any plans to release future campaign content for Halo 5: Guardians.”

Regarding expanding the Halo universe, 343’s Frank O’Connor recently stated that he’d like to see a Halo game that didn’t revolve around shooting, but that is likely far off considering Halo 5 is brand new.
