Microsoft has announced that Halo 2: Anniversary will make its first publicly playable appearance at Gamescom next week.
News of this comes from the Xbox Wire, which confirms that fans who are attending the event will be able to 4v4 multiplayer matches at the Xbox booth on the Gamescom show floor.
Halo 2: Anniversary will be part of the long-rumored Master Chief: Collection, which was finally unveiled during Microsoft’s press conference at E3 this year. Developer 343 Industries recently revealed the collection’s special edition that includes a statue of Master Chief himself.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to Xbox One on November 11th.
