2k Sports has released a new video featuring All-Star Washington Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez as part of their ongoing promotion for the Perfect Game Challenge in MLB 2k13, which begins April 1.
The video features Gonzalez boasting of his own abilities while trash talking those of rival pitcher and Los Angeles Dodger Clayton Kershaw. It is the latest in a series of videos featuring some of MLB’s biggest stars, including David Price, C.J. Wilson, and Giancarlo Stanton, pleading their cases for dominance in the Perfect Game Challenge.
Unlike past Perfect Game Challenges, which awarded a one-million dollar prize to the first player to complete a perfect game, this years challenge splits the award money amongst the best perfect games for each team. Those players who throw the best perfect game for each individual team will receive $25,000, and the best four players will win a trip to New York and a chance to win $250,000.
MLB 2K13 is available in stores now and fans have until April 1st to practice pitching before the Perfect Game Challenge kicks off. For more info on this year’s Perfect Game Challenge, please visit http://2kgam.es/PGC2K13 or https://www.facebook.com/MLB2K and follow the hashtag #CHOOSEME on Twitter.
