After implying it before, Square-Enix has made an official declaration that Final Fantasy XV will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016.
News of this came from this weekend’s PAX Prime, where director Hajime Tabata made the announcement alongside a new trailer showcasing the game’s driving segments and how players will be able to drive to get through Final Fantasy XV’s world.
Square-Enix will showcase Final Fantasy XV again at Tokyo Game Show, where it will focus on characters Luna and Regis, as well as discuss other mini-games and side content like fishing and chocobo-riding.
As of earlier this month, Final Fantasy XV is “70-percent done” with development, and Square-Enix is currently planning to release the game simultaneously worldwide.
