Square Enix recently announced that the closed beta for the upcoming Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will take place later this month, with signups happening now until August 20. The PlayStation 4 crossover fighter will also include the return of Final Fantasy X character Jecht, of which Square Enix has provided a new gameplay trailer.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a fighting game that pits players in 3v3 teams for the first time in the spin-off series. Players will get to choose from a variety of Final Fantasy protagonists and villains from the mainline games, and will be able to duke it out in massive arenas with special summons like Odin and Ifrit. The closed beta will be open to select players who register on the Square Enix website by August 20. The closed beta will run from August 25 to September 3, and Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will be released sometime in early 2018.
