Development for Minecraft on PS4 is Finished

Minecraft for PlayStation 4 was projected to come to the system in this month of August, and from the looks of it, it’s cutting it real close.

4J Studios, the developer who is porting the game to the PlayStation 4, confirmed that it has handed the game over to Sony for the game’s final testing through a post on its official Twitter, but there’s still no definitive date as to when PS4 owners will be able to actually play the game.

Despite this, there’s currently no word on when the Vita version of Minecraft will be done, which was jointly announced at Gamescom last year alongside the PlayStation 4 version. The same can be said for the Xbox One version which was announced at Microsoft’s E3 press conference last year.
