In the two years since I finished the original Darksiders, I have occasionally hit up YouTube to re-experience the shiver-inducing awesomeness of that climactic final cutscene. That game has become an enduring favorite of mine, an honest-to-God sleeper hit that I’d never even heard of before its release, and the sequel places alongside Bioshock Infinite and Company of Heroes 2 on my Most Anticipated list.
But if I had needed any reminder on how much I love the tone of this series, this trailer would have jogged my memory right quick.
