Causal Bit Games releases new trailer for Battle Princess Madelyn, Q1 2018 release date slated

Today, Causal Bit Games released a new trailer for its recently Kickstarted game Battle Princess Madelyn. The game, a tribute to Ghosts ‘n  Goblins, will be released in the first quarter of 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, Vita, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Wii U.

“Development is well underway on console platforms, as well as PC, and gaming fans of this genre will find many surprises in store with our epic and captivating storyline, and a host of exciting confrontations that will unfold as they progress deeper into Battle Princess Madelyn. Unlock your companions’ powers and destroy the evil wizard once and for all!” said Christopher Obritsch, Creative Director at Causal Bit Games. “Madelyn (my daughter), Daven, myself and the rest of the team are very proud to present our first teaser trailer! We wanted to show off a little bit of the gameplay, a few of the new boss fights, and a few tiny bits of the stunning opening animated sequence to get you all pumped up for the game! We hope you enjoy it!”

Featuring an array of weaponry, story and arcade modes to cater to all gaming fans, and a throwback aesthetic that hearkens back to the good old 8-bit era, this is one game for which to look forward. The support for the recently discontinued Wii U is a surprise, but it’s refreshing in a world where Kickstarter games have ditched support for the last-gen console.
