Bioshock The Collection now available

Bioshock has been an incredible and thought provoking journey across all three games.  Today, 2K Games gives us the chance to plumb the depths of Rapture and the heights of Columbia on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with Bioshock The Collection.  Completely remastered and running at 1080p and up to 60fps, Bioshock 1 and 2 get the royal treatment with all new lighting, textures, and an all-new Director Commentary entitled “Imagining Bioshock”.   You unlock this mode by finding golden reels hidden within the three games, giving players more than two hours of commentary with Ken Levine, creative director on Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite, and Shawn Robertson, animation lead on the same pairing.

For those who already own all three installments on PC, you are in luck — the PC version will unlock globally on Steam on September 15th at 3pm, PST.

PC owners of BioShock, BioShock 2, and/or Minerva’s Den will be able to access the remastered versions of these titles as a free upgrade. For more details on the upgrade process, check out the official 2K Games blog.  In the meantime, would you kindly check out the launch trailer?
