Activision Announces E3 Lineup

While Activision has taken some missteps, they are still a major force in the gaming industry.  If you own a console, then you’ve probably played something published by Activision.  With E3 coming tomorrow, they have announced the games that they will be showing off.  It looks like quite the full lineup.

Cutting-edge innovation and experiential digital entertainment will be on display from Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 Expo) taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 5 – 7, 2012. Highly anticipated and fan-favorite titles Call of Duty®: Black Ops II, Skylanders Giants™ and TRANSFORMERS™: FALL OF CYBERTRON lead Activision’s line-up of blockbuster titles being showcased in the South Hall, booth #647.

Most of these games are sequels or based off of a movie property, but these all could be big hits.  I know I’m looking forward to several of these titles, including Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.  Check out the full Press Release for details on all their titles, and stay here all week for our coverage of E3.  It looks to be an exciting show.

While not working as a Database Administrator, Keith Schleicher has been associated with Gaming Trend since 2003. While his love of video games started with the Telestar Alpha (a pong console with four different games), he trule started playing video games when he received the ill-fated TI-99/4A. While the Speech Synthesizer seemed to be the height of gaming, eventually a 286 AT computer running at 8/12 Hz and a CGA monitor would be his outlet for a while. Eventually he’d graduate to 386, 486, Pentium, and Athlon systems, building some of those systems while doing some hardware reviews and attending Comdex. With the release of the Dreamcast that started his conversion to the console world. Since then he has acquired an NES, SNES, PS2, PS3, PSP, GBA-SP, DS, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One S, Gamecube, Wii, Switch, and Oculus Quest 2. While not playing video games he enjoys bowling, reading, playing board games, listening to music, and watching movies and TV. He originally hails from Wisconsin but is now living in Michigan with his wife and sons.
