I’m actually quite underwhelmed with the game. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t feel like it’s the same caliber as WoW and SC2. I don’t think I’ll continue playing the game for very long, and it seems like even people who were hardcore Diablo 1 and 2 players feel the same.

Amazing game, Blizzard really out did themselves with this one. Graphics <3 Gameplay <3. And I absolutely love the class distinctions in this game. Much better than the first 2 games, about damn time this came out too! Kinda expensive though, I wish Blizzard would stop making their games so expensive! A hockey game is 60 minutes, barring overtime. Does that mean the game design is flawed? I understand you might be looking for more content, but Diablo III is clearly designed to play more than once, and rewards you for it.

Addicted hardly covers it. I can’t think of a great many games where I’ve made one of every single character.

Excellent review! I can’t wait to unlock the Hardcore, Nightmare, Hell, Inferno modes, and also trying out the Witch Doctor and Wizard. I’ve had enough of Barbarian, gonna try out all the other non-melee classes.

I’m torn between wishing Blizzard did more to evolve the series and being happy that it’s such a polished and finely-tuned experience.

I guess if you get down to it, the fact that we’re all addicted to it says enough.
