I’m in the middle of Act 3 with my friend, and on Hardcore, it’s ridiculous how often when fall to our knees, but how reliably our AI partners keep reviving us.
Call me jaded, but a shooter is a shooter. What makes GoW3 good so far? Beautiful vistas, environments, and the neeeed to explode heads.

I’m sorry, but the Gears cast ain’t that interesting. And Cole Train didn’t need that flashback sequence ;)

2) The formula feels slightly stale. I’m still early on in the game so I’m hoping things freshen up a bit, but otherwise the campaign hasn’t evolved much since the first game.
