If you have a steam copy of either of the other stalker games, you can get it for $20.

You might be able to get it as a gift that way via steam as well. Best method would be from someone in a non taxed state.

I was wondering that.  If someone has one of the first two STALKERS, and can get Pripyat for $20, can they gift it for $20?  Because if that's the case, I'd send someone cash or check if they could do that for me.  I owned the first two as hardcopy, so I can't get the $20 deal myself.

i don't see why it wouldn't work as you can buy anything as a gift, but i haven't tried it.  in my state, it would add another 2 bucks or so to the price.
