damn you...and trying to sell your copy of UT2K4 as well.  dude...you're just full of disappointments today.  if you keep that copy of UT, there are rumblings of a little revival over at OO.  check out the discussion over here.  maybe we can get some people on to play again...

I'm interested in, Call of Duty 2 DVD Collectors Edition, but give me a couple of days, so I can make sure I have enough cash left.

Hey zero. I dont remember entirely what I sent you, but I sent all packages either Priority or First class (I think yours was first class). Barring some massive disaster that package should have been there monday or tuesday. I have no idea what the issue is-please keep me updated.

Also, others, please let me know if you have received your packages so I may leave you feedback.

That'll teach you!   Spend the $$ on a generator, and next time you'll be enjoying gaming glory in a warm heated home, while everyone else is sitting in their houses huddled around a kerosene heater.   :slywink:

This summer, just after I had the generator installed, we had a 3 day power outtage. I had full power, full internet, AC,  and my house was lit up like christmas on a block black as the midnight sky.  I even ran an extension cord over to the guy next door so he could play with his Xbox360 to get through the ordeal.   icon_lol

LOL!  I did borrow a generator on Sunday...pretty loud thing!  I think I am going to invest in one...looking at the Honda EU2000i, small, quiet and does what I need.  I don't need it to power the house, just some stuff...although it was a pretty bad time for the power to go out!  Temperatures were down low, one night it was 29degrees!

Well, if you want some advice on it..  I have extensive database in my head about generators.  There are basically 2 ways to go..

Whole house, installed unit.
Pros:
Unlimited fuel (via natural gas w/propane backup)
Quiet
Can power everything in the house, 100%.
20-30seconds automated power backup on house.

Cons:
Expensive, plan on spending $5000+.
Ugly, you have a big box outside your house, 2-3 times bigger than your AC compressor.
You can't take it with you if you move.
More stuff that can break.

Portable unit.
Pros:
Easy to move around.
CHEAP - figure $500-600 for one strong enough to power most of house.
Low maintenence

Cons:
Loud
Expensive to run (gas $)
Not good for long duration outtages (you'll run out of gas, and be siphoning your car)

If you go with a portable, which is what most people have, you can have an electrician install a special "plug" on the outside of your home, and a transfer case inside the house.  Then it is a matter of plugging in the generator, firing it up, and hitting a switch inside of the house to transfer over to generated power.  Figure a 6500-7500WATT unit will be enough to power almost everything inside of a average sized home, including the furnace.

Oh, and Costco is the recommended place to buy it, lifetime warranty, and they have a very nice Coleman 6565Watt unit for $459.00 right now, dirt cheap compared to anywhere else!  After going nearly 2 weeks without power during that huge power outtage a few years back, I vowed to *NEVER* suffer through a power outtage again without power.. No way!

Just bumping this to see if anyone might want anything else right now. I am willing to do any combination of deals and pricing to clear out the cheaper games, I really just want to get rid of stuff so I don't lug it when I move in a few months. I will be adding some new stuff when I get home tonight.
