Ive recently completed yet-another-upgrade / rebuild of my gaming PC and finally decided to get together a list of the leftover bits from this and other rounds of upgrading to see if anyone has any interest in them. Some of the stuff is fairly new and some of it goes back a number of years. Free stuff at the bottom that's yours for the shipping. PayPal or Amazon gift cards would work.

Things Id like some to sell, all in pristine condition with no issues. Prices do not include shipping.

Dell 2405FPW 24 LCD Monitor: Height adjustable as well as tilts and rotates to portrait, something my larger replacement monitor does none of. No issues with it, pixels or scratches or anything, just wanted something bigger. Originally cost me over $800, looking for $95  Sold

Intel E8400 Core2 Duo Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache:  LGA 775, great CPU, easy to overclock. Still going for over $160, looking for $75

ASUS V-60 92mm Vapo Bearing CPU Cooler: Used with the E8400 above. $10

4GB Kingston HyperX 4GB (4 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500): Used with the E8400 above. $45

Auzentech Prelude 7.1 X-Fi based sound card: A very nice high end card I no longer have the room in my case for - was $180, looking for $50  Sold

Three Western Digital SATA drives, all of which have been problem free:

WD4000YR-01PL80 7200 RPM Caviar RE2 400GB (out of warranty for two years) $30
WD1500HLFS-01G6U0 10000 RPM VelociRaptor 150GB (in warranty to 4/14/2011) $40 Sold
WD740GD-00FLA2 10000 RPM VelicoRaptor 74GB (out of warranty 5 months) $25

Intel E5400 Core2Duo plus Cooler Master CPU cooler: Wolfdale 2.7GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 salvaged from a Dell desktop $25

3GB Samsung M378T2863DZS-CE6 RAM (2x1GB,2x512MB):  PC2-5300 DDR2-667MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL5 240-Pin Single Rank DIMM. Salvaged from that same Dell desktop $20

Things you can have for the cost of shipping:

Sony NEC Optiarc DVD-ROM (IDE) drive, model: DDU1675A. Note this is not a burner.
NEC DVD-RW (IDE) drive, model: ND-3520A
Delta 300W PSU

Belkin Nostromo N52 SpeedPad  (new in box)   Sold
CLAW USB controller
Microsoft SideWinder USB Gamepad  Sold
Microsoft SideWinder Strategic Commander controller (USB)
Microsoft SideWinder Pro 3D Pro joystick (not USB!)
Saitek Cyborg 3D Force Feedback joystick (USB)

Older cards, all working fine when they went into storage:

3DFX Voodoo2 8MB PCI CT6670 video card
Leadtek A350XT GeForce FX 5900XT 128MB 256-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card
NVIDIA NV25 GeForce4 Ti 4600G 128-MB AGP video card (model 6002246?)
Matrox MGA Millennium 2 MB PCI video card

SoundBlaster Audigy SB1394 sound card
SoundBlaster Live! CT4670 sound card

I also have an Act Labs Force RS Wheel with pedals and shifter, if theres any interest in it let me know and we can work out a price. Have everything in the original box but remember that it is large and an older and discontinued product. Again something that was working just fine went it went into the basement, just don't have a need for it any more.

Thanks for looking!  icon_biggrin

PM sent.

I didn't ad it to the stuff I want but can you give me your opinion on the sound card? I have a Audigy 2 ZS but have wanted a X-Fi...but that one is not sound blaster. Would I be able to get a good driver for it? Does it sound good? Better than Audigy 2 ZS?

From what I undestand, Auzentech is the only third party Creative licensed to build boards using the X-Fi chip. I bought it because it was better than an equivalent SB card, both from build and component quality. You should be able to find reviews of it online if you google around. I would still be using the darn thing if I had a slot leftover but onboard sound has come a long way so I'm using that (Realtek HD, ASUS mobo) at the moment.

This stuff does me no good, collecting dust and taking up space. Just want to move it.  icon_wink

I also want the sound card then. Sounds good from what you say. Maybe it will have good drivers. If not maybe Creative ones will work....so whats my total?...Paypal btw.

This one:
Auzentech Prelude 7.1 X-Fi based sound card: A very nice high end card I no longer have the room in my case for - was $180, looking for $50

It says 7.1 and I plan to get a pair of wireless Logitech 7.1 headset.

You'll need to stick with the Auzentech drivers AFAIK, but they are based on the Creative ones. The previous link for it will get you to downloads for the card (amongst other things) but here is a direct link to the driver download page.

PM coming...

Just so people know, I'm working for the DoD on an extra special Gov't approved laptop that has severely restricted internet access so replies would come either early in the morning or late at night.

I think you scared everyone off with the DoD stuff smile

If anyone is on the fence about any of these parts let me ease your mind. I got my package this morning. It was packed beyond safe. Nothing was moving. The items themselves were in mint condition. If Im not mistaken the gamepad is at least 12 years old and it is perfect and even came in it's original box and the plastic inside the controller was wrapped in .

This stuff is amazing and at this price you can't lose.

I'm interested in this. Need some for my sister's Dell XPS 400. Shoot me a PM with your PP info and I'll get it to you.

Arise! I'd like to open this up one last time before this stuff heads out to the dumpster. Really hate to see it go down like that, but I just don't see the need to keep it around and cluttering up the house anymore. So, what I still have that can be yours just for whatever it takes to ship it:

WD4000YR-01PL80 7200 RPM Caviar RE2 400GB (out of warranty)
WD740GD-00FLA2 10000 RPM VelicoRaptor 74GB (out of warranty)

CLAW USB controller
Microsoft SideWinder Strategic Commander controller (USB)
Microsoft SideWinder Pro 3D Pro joystick (not USB!)
Saitek Cyborg 3D Force Feedback joystick (USB)

3DFX Voodoo2 8MB PCI CT6670 video card
Leadtek A350XT GeForce FX 5900XT 128MB 256-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card
NVIDIA NV25 GeForce4 Ti 4600G 128-MB AGP video card (model 6002246?)
Matrox MGA Millennium 2 MB PCI video card

SoundBlaster Audigy SB1394 sound card
SoundBlaster Live! CT4670 sound card

And I still have that darn Act Labs wheel.

To add insult to injury, found that I also had the shifter for it - clean, pristine, unopened. And now gone to a better place.

Anyway, let me know if anyone out there is interested in saving any of this from the dump!

is that matrox card one of the old "multimedia" cards?  what im really asking - if my memory serves correctly - some of them could do capture from vhs via coax cable - does that sound about right?

Time to empty out the glass case.  icon_wink

The Matrox dates form '96 and just has the standard blue VGA port on it, so don't think it's what you're thinking.

Responding to Caine and Purge via PM here shortly...

Purge, I do believe the original post has a link to the Act Labs product page for the (discontinued) wheel.

I have a tote full of PC Gamer as well. My first issue was January 99 which I bought off the stand. I'd been playing PC games off and on since the late 80s but that issue blew me away. I bought Half-Life shortly thereafter and the rest is history.

Probably... what are you looking for? Probably have a 2.1 set down in the basement, gawd knows what else.

LOL! Just checked and I have a couple of different used Altec Lansing 2.1 sets and a Boston Acoustics BA7800 4.1 stashed away in an unopened box.
