Was looking around, but they are either too expensive or too low end.

Anyone looking to trade an AGP card they don't use anymore?  Has to be able to play WoW at a decent frame rate, and has to only use one bay slot.

Would prefer a trade, let me know what kind of games you are interested in (PC, DS, PS 1/2).

I have a Nvidia GF4 Ti4400 around here somewhere, but that's probably below what you're looking for.

In midst of building out a new Quad system for my gaming rig, so will have an AGP X850XT shaking loose real soon/ by next week, but that takes -two- slots.

In alternative, I was planning/going to keep a slightly slower AGP X1300XT around to keep in my about to be demoted system, but if you can use that one I can probably just keep the X850xt instead. Positive that's 1 slot (and recall it def. is much quieter), but would need to dig it out of the box & absolutely verify.

Since I know zippo about WOW, can't access performance for you, so I'd say first check the superhandy Tom's hardware vid card comparison to see if the X1300Xt would suit you/ do the job (my link to the Dec page here): http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/12/03/best_graphics_card/page6.html#summary [ showing this bunch to be about equal: 6600 GT, 6800LE, 6800 XT, 7300 GT DDR2, Go 7600 (128-bit), 8500 GT, 9800 XT, X700 PRO, X800 GT, X800 SE, Mobility X800, X1300 XT, X1600 PRO, HD 2400 XT ]
if so, then let's take it to PM if interested & combo/work up something tradewise (I'm pc stuff only though).

fwiw I'm using an ATI 1650 Pro card these days (overpriced for its so-so performance but my fairly nice X800 Pro card's slot connector went sour, and I had to do something as an AGP stopgap).

I tried an ATI 2400HD and it was horrific (crashes, freezes, constant instability regardless of what revision drivers I used), although it actually had noticeably better frame rates than what I use now. But what's the point, if your PC locks up or shuts down randomly every other minute?  disgust

I've been blindly loyal to ATI for years for no particular reason but my new system most decidedly won't use one. I've had way too many driver issues with far too many games, and I'm just tired of it. mad

I think I have a 9800 Pro 256MB lying around as well fwiw (http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/83/ is the one).

I'd be careful though if you play newer games. Many have extremely picky system requirements that specify a video card must be a certain model or higher; when I dug out my old 9800 Pro as an emergency card I found several new games and demos wouldn't run at all (including the Bioshock and Lost Planet demos, and Gears of War PC).

Thanks for the responses.  I'm going to see what I can work out with Speaker2Animals.  I'm supposed to list some PC games for trade, but I'm still stuck at work.  Pwned.

Yeah, all the cards mentioned here should work.

I've been kind of busy (and lazy) lately, so I haven't gotten together my trade list.  I'll try getting to that in the next few days- can't tonight, because I have to learn some dance stuff for a wedding (long story, and not interesting).

I cast Thread Resurrection!

My wife's video card has just gone out, and we're in the same boat in needing an agp card. (At least, I hope it's the card, and not the MB.) Anyone here still have any of these?
