No I don't think you can-that's the brilliance of it!

Well, crap.  I'd love offload Half Life 2, Titan Quest, Vampire:  Bloodlines, and Dark Messiah of Might & Magic.  Looks like I'm stuck with them.  frown

I want to say that Valve charged $10 to transfer licenses but then I remember they were pushing people to give away previous versions of HL2 and Ep 1 if they bought Orange Box so maybe they changed it.

Well, if anyone can figure out how to do it, those games are all theirs.  smile

I'll add these, but they are a little weak i think, but maybe someone can use them:

both pc:

Medal of Honor:Spearhead (jc only)

Republic: the revolution (jc with book)

I can only count these as like, .5 each in good conscience, so I believe that puts me at a +4 again.

Deadzone: Sanitarium please?

i will offer up:

Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger
Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom

both of these have *everything included (manuals, books, promo inserts, etc) in the (huge) boxes. would prefer that they end up in someone's game library or for collection purposes - they are in pretty good shape.

Rubyeye, can I claim Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow(I am guessing for PC)?

Karma +2

Can I get a ruling on this:

Mechwarrior 2
Mechwarrior 2: Ghost Bear's Legacy

Minus: Older
Plus: Classics for a collection

It's kinda like Hardball 4 which I took off my karma. These are classics(at least in my eyes) that would fit a collection well but are they worth karma points. I don't want to go against the spirit here smile Let me know smile

This isn't pay it forward; this is a swap meet with a bunch of old eastern european bitties.
Come, cuzzin; let us go find some beeg amahrikan tittees eenstead!

slywink Oh, and gratch, no Canada shipping? For shame. Do you think it's that much more expensive? Use USPS and with ground it's pretty cheap... and consider that you're basically saying you have no interest in the collections from people in Canada either. This makes me sad. frown

I'll go through the archives and see if there is anything I'd be willing to give up.

Large envelope only goes up by 16 cents, small package goes from ~2.50 to ~4.50 (at the first class mail rate). I compared online using USPS.COM from 85001 to 58201 (which is prolly the closest ZIP to me).

Here's a direct comparison of Canada Post rates:
Within Canada
$0.52
$0.96
$1.15
$1.92
$2.65
U.S. destination
$0.96
$1.15
$1.92
$3.20
$6.40
Weight:
- up to 30g
- 31g to 50g
- up to 100g
- 101g to 200g
- 201g to 500g

The relevance? A DVD case can be mailed in a bubble envelope as a letter (via Canada post). If this is a pay it forward and 90% of the people I ship to are US, isn't the spirit of this that we're not nitpicking value?

You'd think that since Canada is a province of the USA, the shipping rates would be the same...

Actually, I get involved in these freebie threads because I can slip packages into the mailroom at work and they'll send them for free.  But that only works if it's shipments within the US.  Canadian addresses send up red flags, and I can get in trouble for it.

You know I'm crazy aboot you Canadians.  And your bacon.   Mmmmmmmm, bacon...

As far as shipping to other countries, it's not really that big of a deal.  I just shipped a game to Japan.  It only costs a few bucks more.  If $3 is going to break you, than let me know what corner you normally panhandle at and I'll go there to bring you some change   Tongue

I don't see any starforce things in my device manager like this site show so don't think that version of SS has it.

Googling around some say SS installs SF while others don't even among just the NA versions. Not sure, but like I said I don't see the signs of starforce on my rig. Would starforce ever not install on some rigs but still install on others due to config differences? I still use W2K, not XP, but don't see that as a reason it wouldn't install sf, but who knows.
