Hey guys,

Its a long shot, but I figured I'd ask. Is anyone here in possession of GameCube component cables and willing to let them go for a reasonable price? My brother hocked all my GameCube stuff, and I'm slowly putting my collection back together, but I also still play pretty frequently, so, definitely trying to get another set of component cables.

Thanks!

I donít but Wii component cables are pretty common.  Since you can play Gamecube games on that you might want to consider upgrading to play your old games.  icon_smile

The Wii Component Cable works with the GameCube, So just go to gamestop and pick one of those up.

@Lordnine -- Yeah, I know, but I'd have to get a GC capable Wii and I also use my GC for the Gameboy Player, so, its gonna be on my stand regardless. I'll likely have to deal with a redundant Wii (have a Wii U) on my stand.

@Scraper -- I don't think that is true. The ports are different and the the GC component cables contain the video encoder.

I think I have a set.  Let me know what you are looking to pay for them.

I'm looking to pay 50-60, tops. I know what they are priced at on eBay and Amazon, which makes my number probably look insulting. Although they really don't seem to sell at the higher price points. I am certain, though, if you were patient you could probably get 100-120 pretty easily, more if you're really patient. I'm just not willing to go that high, its a nice to have item for someone that plays their Cube frequently, but not must have.

I went home and double checked on the Wii Cable and you are right. For some reason I thought it worked with the cube. I also looked for my old Gamecube Component Cable and couldn't find it.

Hey, sorry, I missed your reply somehow. I've heard S-Video produces a solid picture, but my TV doesn't seem to have the port
