I bought this a little over a year ago. Worked fine and did not need after I got rid of wireless. It's very similar to the one on Amazon in the link below. The base is more in the shape of a teardrop on the one I have. I paid about $60 new for it, just pays shipping...

Can you use this with things other than a PC (e.g. old-school xbox in the usb, or dvd players, etc)? I've never tried that with a regular adapter but could be useful if it does
