Nice deal, though I would also add that Amazon is usually very slow on new releases so I wouldn't make any plans on playing Gears on "Emergence Day" or whatever.

There have been a lot of 360 deals lately. I wonder if this is a sign of an impending price drop.

Well technically this would be a 60.00 price drop....as I believe GoW is 60.00

But man if I launch all my ducats at this, I won't be able to buy a Wii for some time...

Microsoft already officially said "No price drop".   However that is their "Official" line, I have been seeing instant rebates, package deals, free game deals popping up.  Costco started with $20 off instantly, then moved to $50 off instantly as an example.

So unofficial price drop yes.. Microsoft acknowledged - no.

So is that 50.00 off of their 499.00 bundle?

Allow me to politely step in to yell WRONG in gellar's face.  PGR3 is the most generic, boring racer I've ever played.  Plus its retail price/tradein value continues to plummet.
