Amazon is doing that deal again where they sell a few items at LOW LOW prices and bring down the whole internet. Vote here. Thanks to Cheapassgamer for the heads up. I voted for the 360 cause a 99.00 back up system is too good to pass up. Looks like they're offering it to random customers rather than bringing down the net this year... |

I voted PS3, because a 360 Arcade is something I don't want, and I already own a Wii
But for those wondering, Wii is currently rocking the vote with 55%, PS3 at 31% and 360 Arcade POS at 14%

I voted PS3 for the cheap Blu-Ray player and since I already have the other 2. I also voted for the HD-DVD player in round 3 so I could remain format neutral.  |

i forget where i saw it, but the "runner-up" prices were leaked out, so even if you don't vote for the winner, there's still a chance you could save a bunch on the one you voted for. of course, it's still a lottery system, but at least that means you'll actually get a chance to get one, unlike last year's $99 core, gone in 6 seconds.

Wished I had voted Wii, went with PS3 since I'd rather have one of those, but the runner up price is $320, more than I can really spend right now. At least the Wii I can afford.

Last year I qualified for a Tickle Me Elmo, but it was a runner-up. I bought it anyway ($47) with arbitrage on the mind. Wound up not selling it or giving it away to a child. This year rolled around and I decided I needed to get the thing out of the house so I put it up on eBay. Turns out there is a new and improved version this year. Sold it for $42. Oh well. At least it's out of the house.

sigh - only one more day left but it's the day that I want to win the most. Of course it's also the day that probably has the worst odds. Most people voted by the final day, it had the most votes and of course -- only 200 people will even be offered it.
Even more frustrating is the idea that there are probably going to be a number of people who do get selected for the offer and won't / can't take advantage of it.
