As with all Target clearance, YMMV.  Might as well start with that.

Some of the Milwaukee area Targets have had Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold on the clearance train for a few weeks.  Monday it hit $9.98 (75% off).  That was my target price (ha ha) so I picked it up.

Well worth it.  After loading up on the latest patches, I highly recommend TonyK's AI: it's excellent!

Agreed - it's a fun game that still has a couple of minor glitches (eg -
Spoiler for Hiden:
when doing the tree touching with the druid, make sure you only touch the trees with your main character
), but it's certainly worth the $10 and then some (imo).

I bought it for that price as well.  I was expecting something like Dungeon Siege and yes, I do feel ripped off.  Couldn't even get an hour into it before I threw up in my mouth...

DMC4 is a pretty fun game, topped off with some great graphics and badass cutscenes...well worth that price if you're at into that type of action game even a little bit.

I know they have it at BB for 49.99 for the 360, so I'm assuming they have it for the ps3 at that price as well.  They also have GHIII for the 360 for 39.99 (the bundle with the Les Paul wireless) for 39.99.  I picked up the latter more out of curiosity.  I've always been curious about the attraction of the GH style games.  I figured for less than the price of a controller, I can now find out.

edit: i was wrong... it's actually 39.99

edit 2:  whoops, i may have misread your post and thought you were looking for this.

Seems they put out some new clearance items over the last week or so.

At lunch today I scored a copy of Mercs 2 for the 360 for 15 bucks, as well as a copy of Too Human for the 360 for 20 bucks. Not a bad haul for about 2/3rds the price of a new game.

I also saw a ton of copies of Fracture for the 360 for around 20 smackers, Batman Lego for the 360 for 25 dollars and a bunch of ps3 games that I didn't pay much attention to.

Well, of course.  I should have thought when I saw the price, "I'm not paying this, Caine will sell it cheaper to me!!"

My Target has the more recent Viva Pinata game(Trouble in Paradise) for $14.99 now.  They also have Bolt for 19.99, as well as Batman and Too Human.  If Bolt makes it to $10 I will probably buy it just because we love Disney stuff.

Is Too Human or Batman worth a $20 price?

Batman seems like it kinda flew under the radar. Same with the Indy Jones adventures.

Lego Batman is for sure worth $20.

I think i'll pick up batman lego when it hits the 14.98 price point...if it ever does.

Too Human may not be worth 20 bucks to most folks (it got mediocre reviews) but I really liked the demo.  I didn't like it enough to pay 60 bucks at the time of its release, but 20 bucks seems reasonable to me.

Mercs 2 is just a steal at 15 bucks, though.  It's insanely fun.

I saw the games mentioned above as well as a few others at my local store this last weekend.

The only other one I can specifically remember was Tomb Raider: Underworld for $42.  I'll wait until that gets another knock in price before I pick it up.

Mine (in Virginia) had, in terms of PC games, Crysis and Crysis: Warhead at $29.98 each, and C&C: Red Alert 3 for $29.98 as well. I didn't get anything, but those were the prices that caught my eye. Thankfully, Sacred 2 is still full price there, so I don't feel stupid having bought it for $35 at a Circuit City liquidation sale.  icon_razz

Some 360 game prices just dropped to that magic number in Newbury Park, CA (not so much in Camarillo...):

Lego Batman $12.98
Facebreaker $4.98
Too Human $9.98

Oddly, Bourne, Tomb Raider, Spiderman and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith all stayed high ($24.98 to $29.98).

I also have a question:
Rock Band Special Edition is $69.98. Is this a good deal or are the instruments really that bad?

Huge restock on the clearance shelf at the Target near my office (Park Rd. exit off rt. 41 near Deerfield, IL).

I picked up:

Brothers in Arms: HH  (an UNGODLY amount of copies available)
Tomb Raider: Underworld (Not as many copies as HH, but still quite a few)
Last Remnant (I got the last one)

They were 14.98 apiece and all were for the 360.

I also saw:

Far Cry 2 for the PS3 for 14.98
Spiderman: Web of Shadows for the 360 for 24.98
Mercs 2 for the 360 for 14.98 (one copy left)

Picked up a copy of The Bourne Conspiracy [360] for $15 today.  They also had 360 copies of Disney's Bolt for $15, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith for $20 and some other PS2 games and random crap.
