I tried the demo and loved it. The graphics are gorgeous, and the physics and character switching are a hoot. However, several reviews mention that it's a short game, and Gamespot claims it's overpriced. It strikes me as very much an XBLA game, and I do believe that it's coming to that platform. I'll wait for that or steam half off sale. I will play this game ... eventually.

Trine has 15 levels.  So far its been taking me 40 minutes to an hour to get through each so a 10-15 hour game.  Not bad in my opinion.  A lot of the fun for me has been trying to get all the experience potions and treasures to level up my characters.  As the game goes on you gain new abilities and I've been having a blast just building towers with my wizard to get around.

Highly recommended.

The animations are excellent, the voice-acting is excellent. Everything about this game says that the devs put a lot of love into it ... shit now I'm talking myself into it.

Wait, I can't! Too much. Just bought Madden and 'Splosion Man. Shadow Complex hits Wed on XBLA, then Champions Online. Too much!

I do have a wish list, and this game is now high on that list.

I'm in the same position, too many games to justify this right now.  just remember that huge Steam Holidya sale isn't too far away.....

It's still cheaper on PS3 (19.99), though it hasn't been released yet.  It's close, apparently.
