it sounds like they'll be doing this all week.  luckily I already have all of the games from them I'd want to buy so I won't miss out on the oddly timed deals.

think I posted this elsewhere but GTA IV uses Games for Windows Live for patching so it doesn't matter who you grab it from, patching won't be automatic.  I have the Steam version and the last patch required I sign into GFWL and then let it download the patch.

They've got the original Manhunt on sale for $2.50 for the next hour or so (until 10pm Pacific Monday).

Does not work with Windows 7, though.

I hate it that Steam does this special sale after I just bought EFLC and Bully. With the money I paid for those, I can get the whole collection.

I think the collection is going to be on sale all week, it's the individual sales that are short.

that's odd, I definitely had an update come through GFWL and thought it was the latest update since it didn't make me choose which version of GTA IV I wanted to play (vanilla or episodes) until after that update.

What's wrong with Securom? That's one of the most common types of DRM for games out there, and is probably used in way more than 50% of the games most of us own.

well so far, off the top of my head, these are the deals I've seen:

grand total: 53.46

so the bundle is still a savings.
