Don't think I'll get anything today... Kinda pissed that I bought Ion Assault less than 2 weeks ago for $4.99  how is it mirage? I like it, haven't played it much since Christmas... Can't seem to get past the first boss though, lol Lots of debris by the time I knock his shields off... Still fun bought it, can't play it. apparently my card is too old. oh hell. Damn.... |

I had the same thing showing on those two deals then after going to a game page and coming back I noticed the Stalker deal showed, but not the GTA IV one, then when clicking on the individual deal pages the GTA IV one showed up for $9.99. Must be some glitch with STEAM.

Is Left 4 Dead 2 worth it? I didn't really like the first game on the 360; it seemed that most of the time my screen was just filled with zombies that I was having to bat away and didn't get much time to shoot them before I was swarmed. Was it like that generally or did I just suck?
However I'm much more likely to do well on the PC and I have no doubt that it's fun playing co-op. Random servers any good?

not the only one too. on the main page, you get a picture of mafia 2 with a hover text saying medal of honor with a price of $44.99  almost forgot the indie sale grotesque tactics for $2.99 |

LFD2 is tempting as is Grotesque tactics. Anyone try the later? It's a decent, if generic, Japanese style TBS game in the vein of FF Tactics. Unfortunately, it's also saddled with a horrific Engrish script and is a buggy mess. Had to quit playing the third mission after completely random CTD's about every 20 minutes. More thoughts here. I'd skip it, but I'm also very critical of SRPGs after playing so many good ones. YMMV. |

kinda annoyed that the Alien Breed Bundle never materialized. Looking at their Steam forums I see a collection of all 3 is coming, so I'll just wait. was tempted by Grotesue, but Gratch saved me the headaches. there's a couple of games that are on sale that I was holding off in case they went daily that I'm going to grab though.

Much to my surprise, I bought nothing this year. This has more to do with my frustration at how poorly my old PC handles games than anything else.
While I am here can I rant about a little Steam niggle that continues to piss me off? Why can't it remember my age? I'm logging in when I browse Steam, so why in the hell can't you remember how old I am?!

In it's defense, Grotesque might be worth $3 if you can get past the bugs. There are a few good ideas there, but the random CTD's were the last straw for what I felt was a very mediocre game to begin with. There's just many better SRPG's out there, that I couldn't see myself wasting any more time on that one. |
