So I picked up 'Red Alert 3' for 5 bucks.. when the sale updated, I picked up 'Company Of Heroes' for $2.50.. then to round it up, 'Portal' for $7.49 (yep, never played it) and I finally bit the bullet and got 'Fallout 3: GOTY' for $22.49.

That's it for me! My final tally:

Good idea. I grabbed both Jimmy's Vendetta and Joe's Adventure. I couldn't be bothered spending extra money on the other DLC, which is just some new suits and cars, as I doubt those will prolong my enjoyment of the game.

I'm also considering Divinity II, since I seem to recall some buzz about it in the PC games forum. I know you say to buy everything, Ceekay, but is this game worth $20? Is it a Gothic-type RPG? Those tend to be my favorites.

The Jimmy's Vendetta and Joe's Adventures are integrated, they're separate stories.  as for Divinity 2, here's an ongoing thread about it.  I'm having a blast when I find time to play it, and there's is supposed to be a lot of game there.  It's more action oriented than Gothic, think of it as more along the lines of Diablo, Torchlight or Sacred 2.

Well, that's strange.  Downloading Zeno Clash, and Macafee popped up a warning about detecting and removing a Trojan (Artemis) during the installation.  Definitely not what you like to see installed with your new games.

from the official Bug FAQ:

Avira Antivirus seems to detect a Trojan in the ZenoClash.exe. We don't know why and have scanned our systems with NOD and AVG and they don't detect anything. It is a false positive.

granted that's not McAffee, but this thread here is a guy having the same problem.

Divinity 2 - great game. I had 100+ in the original campaign - haven't even touched Flames of Vengeance yet.

After a couple of days Steam sales break, now I'm tempted by MOH, Divinity 2 and the Mafia DLCs. I want Settlers 7 too but not until the permanent internet connection DRM is removed.

Brothers in Arms has not held up as I recall. At the time it came out I remember being amazed by it's game play, story, and graphics. Now not so much. I'm guessing pt 2 will be the same. But the 3rd one came out in 2008 so it may fair better. Still trying to play through them all though.

Apparently.  I've even tried bouncing around to a few different servers, but have yet to get anything over 50kbs/s (typically been averaging around 25) since 11am today.  Lame.

EDIT:  So I just switched to a server in Hungary, and suddenly I'm at around 800.

for some reason I have good luck with Canadian servers.  of course YMMV since you're further west and I'm not sure there is a civilized Canada near your
