Hmm...I was hoping for a better price on RUSE and Transformers.  Passing on both.  I'll probably grab Hegemony.  Should I be interested in the Grand Ages Rome games?

I have 323 total Steam Games.  That is crazy.  Nothing for me today though too high of price on transformers, with all the deals hard to spend $20 on just one game.

I'm waiting for Wheelman and Wolfenstein to go on sale, wheelman is $5 off but want a lower price and Wolfenstein is not on sale or discount at all.

Shatter looks interesting enough for $2.50, but that's it today.

I don't get the complaints about this sale. Almost every major game has gone on a daily sale at some point and, even if they haven't been, it seems like nearly every game on the service is discounted 10-25%.

Maybe it is just my perception, but it seems the past sales had better games at better prices overall.

I agree about the price points. This sale has had a lot of 33-50% discount deals in the daily lists, more so than last year's sale. Still, my list of purchases is impressive and they got me to buy more games than I was planning to:

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Borderlands GOTY edition
Killing Floor
King Arthur Complete Pack
Both Monkey Islands
The Witcher (which I already owned, but I like having it on Steam and I'm planning to do a replay)

I'm still waiting for Mafia 2 to go on sale.

It's $12.50 for a digital copy from Amazon. You can purchase it there, but activate the license to download and play in Steam.

I never did get around to getting Transformers on a console.  I am thinking about getting it for PC.  $20 is pretty cheap.

I'm at 85 if I count all the various little bits and pieces of HL2 as separate games.

i'm not going to try and count mine  icon_lol

If you click on "All Games" near the top of the screen on the Games Library screen, it will tell you how many you have.  I'm up to 109  icon_redface

Steam tells me I have 90 by that method.

I bought the game on the PS3 when it came out and it was great I may buy again at that price point.  The music was really great as well and it puts a great spin on breakout.

Debating Singularity, Transformers and Hot Pursuit.

I really enjoyed Singularity.  It was a good shooter with some new ideas that could have been fleshed out more but I had a lot of fun with it.  I think it was around 6-8 hours.
Hot Pursuit is a blast on the 360 with the autolog it makes you try races again just to beat your friends scores.

War for Cybertron.

It is a most awesome game!  I bought it when it was released and the guy at Gamestop said I was the one that wanted it for pc  =)

And on for $19.99 today.

Finally, a day that I'm not making a purchase.

I thought it was a good game and I paid $40 for it.  But, what do I know?

I'm going to hold off for today, while Singularity, Transformers, and Hot Persuit are tempting, they aren't that cheap right now and I've got some tasty stuff to crunch through, like Metro 2033, Just Cause 2, Dirt 2, and Dragon Age...

There wasn't much in today's sale that impressed me other than Oblivion GOTY, but I already own it for 360. Overall I think the sale's been great so far, but that's probably because I've been looking for older and Indie games. I picked up 2 copies of quite a few titles to play co-op and Vs with my son and I didn't pay more than $7.50 for any of them. I won't forget the deal on Misadventures of PB Winterbottom - I'm sure that will remain my biggest bang for the buck for some time.

I bought the GOTY a while back (B&M store) added a few mods and was off and running. That lasted until the Steam sale. I will get back to it though. I never enjoyed the 360 version, graphics were poor. Having a decent rig and a few graphic mods really helps. Some games just have a warm fuzzy feel to them. Oblivion does that for me.

$10 seemed a little high for Oblivion GOTY. I thought I paid around $5 for the Deluxe version during the last sale.

Isgrimnur, I hear ye. What can I say? If you're a Transformers fan like me and Mirage, your perception of the game goes up a couple of notches. To me, I'm in hog's heaven when I play it. High Moon Studios really did a great job.

Did the Deluxe version have the two expansions?  If not, you can think of it as $5 for the game and $5 for the expansions.  Either way, $10 is still a steal for all that content.

The Deluxe version came with both expansions and all the DLC. The current $10 sale is only for the game and 2 expansions without the DLC.

$10 seemed a little high for Oblivion GOTY. I thought I paid around $5 for the Deluxe version during the last sale.

Wow, that is pretty nice, I guess.  I got all the DLC back on the 360 and it wasn't that great, so I can definitely do without.
