I picked up The Ball over Thanksgiving.  It's first person, but you have to move the ball around to get anything done.  Once I got to the point of the first jumping puzzle, I quit and haven't gone back.  Don't know that I will.

I was wondering the same. I've noted from reading threads in the Steam forums that a lot of games that state (2000, WinXP Only) can be successfully run under Windows 7, but usually not Vista. From what I've heard, MS made changes to Win7 to improve backward compatibility. My son just upgraded to Win7 and really wants the whole BIA pack, but I'm only 100% about Hells Highway. Guess I'll need to dive into the forum and read some threads before 9:55 am tomorrow.

been doing some googling on it and I've seen reports that Hill 30 and Earned in Blood either work or do not work with Windows 7.  it's a PC game so naturally it's a YMMV situation.

Dunno if its because I bought so many games last year but this STEAM sale has been really disappointing IMO. Allot of frankly second tier games and allot of stuff I've seen on sale multiple times before. I spent over $100 last year but am sitting at only $7.50 spent so far.

I'm at a point where I've purchased most of the games I'm interested in on Steam through the different sales.  I mean, how many times can they put their entire catalog on sale before everyone buys what they want.

But, the sales have given me a chance to pick up on same really cool indie games that I would have skipped otherwise.

hell, most of my 130 odd games are indie games or from the insane deals.  i haven't bought a single game at full price yet, although i have bought a few at a sale price higher than the big sale price.

and it's not like i haven't bought anything this round.  sitting around 25 as it is and there are still days left before it all ends.

If you click on "All Games" near the top of the screen on the Games Library screen, it will tell you how many you have.  I'm up to 109

Of course, between all the junk that gets installed with Halflife 2 and buying the Telltale Complete pack last year (each episode counts as a game, so that's 32 right there), that accounts for a lot.  It also counts installed demos and mods.  But yeah, I have a problem.

I don't get the complaints about this sale. Almost every major game has gone on a daily sale at some point and, even if they haven't been, it seems like nearly every game on the service is discounted 10-25%.
