Thinking about Doom pack but I know I'll never play any of the old games and there is no deal for just Doom 3. I also really wish they would get with Aspyr so they could get the Mac versions of some of these games, but they seem locked up with GameAgent ($30 for Kotor!)

I'm seriously considering SimCity - I have 3000 Deluxe, but I've heard 4 is even better. I'm also considering getting IL-2 1946 x 2 so I can upgrade my IL-2 Gold and teach my son how to fly a virtual WWII bird.

I am on the fence here too (with Crysis). Although the new video card can probably handle it at okay frame-rates now. Anyone going to go for this title or the pack? |

Never mind, I picked it up anyway. Saw some gameplay footage on Youtube and it looks pretty good, and it costs less than a pint of beer. Kinda hard to pass it up! |

I love the series. It is turn based strategy very much like the Heroes of Might and Magic games, except instead of building up resources to defeat other enemies on the map, it is quest based w/ a much bigger emphasis on the battles than on resource development. I've put in over 100 hours into the series. |

I could have sworn I was done! Well I told the wife I was. Now I have to explain the 3 games I bought today. This is an addiction. I mean really, do any of us have the time to play all the games we are buying? (besides Ceekay and his 9 clones) Sure we can 'justify' it "I'm stocking up now for the slow summer releases!" "I always wanted to play this" and my favorite " It was less then $5!" But really all we are really is saying is "I want my crack, I want it now!" It reminds me of an old friend of mine back in the Commodore 64 days. Him and his older brothers were pirating fiends, they must have had 400+ games. I asked him why so many games. He just shrugged and said "It's easy". Later he fessed up and said he just can't stop. Easy crack is the worst kind. I am thinking about starting a new for profit group dedicated to addressing this issue. We will call it GASS; Gamers Against Steam Sales.

I had pretty severe issues with its godawful installer, then Razgon told me that it's absolutely nothing to write home about anyway, so I gave up on it. |

Might pick up Archon Classic for $2.50 as well. Had fun with it on iPhone.
